EN42 Spring Steel
EN42 is a carbon spring steel whose properties fall roughly between CS70 and CS80. It is normally supplied in the annealed condition and is suitable for bending, shaping and forming, before final heat treatment. EN42 can be is used in the manufacture of a wide variety of springs.
EN42 spring steel is available in sheets, flats, squares and diameters. Available in annealed, half hard of fully hardened condition.
