EN45 Spring Steel
EN45 is a silicon manganese spring steel (approx. 0.55% carbon), suitable oil hardning and tempering. EN45 is suitable for the manufacture of springs and blades. Much favoured in the manufacture of historical blades
EN45 spring steel is available in sheets, flats, squares and diameters. Available in annealed, half hard of fully hardened condition.
