Spring Steel Strip
Steel Express can supply spring steel strip in the following grades: CS70, CS80, CS95.
CS70 is a carbon spring steel normally supplied in the annealed condition, suitable for bending, shaping and forming, before final heat treatment. CS70 spring steel strip can be used in the manufacture of flat springs.
CS80 is a carbon spring steel usually supplied in the hardened, tempered condition. This has the advantage that it can be used to manufacture components that do not incur the cost of final hardening.
CS95 a carbon spring steel that can be used for products that require thinner steel strip or higher tensile strengths.
All of the above grades of spring steel strips are available in annealed, half hard of fully hardened condition.
