EN16 Engineering Steel (605m36)
EN16 engineering steel, also known as 605m36, comes as rolled (no heat treatment) or hardened and tempered to the 'T' condition.
EN16 displays excellent ductility and shock resistance. As such it is a good choice for a range of general engineering uses.
EN16T is a high tensile steel in the T condition, it has good mechanical properties and has freedom from temper brittleness ideal for bolts, nuts, shafts and axles. Readily machinable.
Popular EN16 size ranges shown here, other sizes available upon request. Cut to order.
