ALLOY24™ Steel
Alloy24™ Technical properties:
quenched and tempered low-alloyed steel that is excellent for machining, with high-impact toughness and low, natural oscillations. Can easily be polished, grained, eroded, etched, sliced, welded, nitrided, and coated with PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). No need for further heat treatment. Working hardness without nitriding: approx. 30-36 HRC (delivery condition).
Alloy24™ Applications:
Alloy24 is suitable for the following applications: machine construction, machine parts, guide rails, base plates, assembling parts, folding tools, plate forming tools, wear parts, forming tools, rubber moulds and die casting moulds. Some customers use where en24t is not produced in the required size.
We stock Alloy24™ for rapid local and national delivery, also available for export, call for details.
